It stops spam from getting into your In Box and prevents viruses from hitting your network. Spam Police updates its virus signatures every hour 24 hours a day, and removes dangerous scripts from HTML files.
Multiple Spam Police Unit Installation
Need: A company interested in Spam Police has more than 2000 users but would still like to use Spam Police to solve their issues with spam and email viruses
Solution: The company purchases multiple Spam Police devices and does what is called a ganged installation. In this type of installation the incoming email passes simultaneously through multiple Spam Police devices before reaching the email server. This allows the email to pass in the most efficient manner possible while still allowing the email to be stored on an additional Spam Police device set as the Storage Unit allowing users to review the email scored as spam at a later time.
ISP Installation Of Spam Police
Need: An ISP is interested in adding the Spam Police features to its customers' emails but is concerned with the fluctuating number of users they have.
Solution: The ISP can purchase the ISP version of Spam Police. In this installation the Spam Police device reviews all incoming email for virus and spam scoring, however the email -- once scored -- is not stored any where. Email is deleted after it is marked as spam or having a virus and is not held as it is in a typical Spam Police installation. Spam Police's easy to use graphical user interface still allows end users to modify Analyzers to their individual preferences, thus allowing for customization for each user.
